Lost the Power Pack? IP Phone Power Supplies, Cables and Screen Brackets to Get Your Desks Working

It happens in every office. Someone moves desks, a cleaner unplugs the wrong thing, or a phone comes back from storage and the power pack has vanished. Suddenly a perfectly good IP phone is a paperweight. The same goes for that one cable nobody can find, or the monitor balanced on a stack of reams of paper because there's nothing to mount it on.
The good news is that these are some of the easiest problems to fix. Telrex keeps a wide range of power packs, cables and accessories on the shelf so you can get your desks working again fast.
Power packs for all the major IP phone brands
Not all phone power supplies are the same. Voltage, amperage and plug size vary between brands and even between models from the same brand, and using the wrong one can stop the phone booting or damage it. We stock the right power packs for the phones Australian businesses actually use:
- Yealink: 5V 1.2A AU power supply for the T2X series, T41P, T42G, T41S, T42S, T43U, T53, T53W and W80B/W90B bases; 5V 2.0A power supply for T29, T3x, T46 and T48 models; 5V 0.6A power supply for T19, T21, T23 and T40; and a PSU for the T3 series, T43U, T53 and T53W.
- Poly / Polycom: universal power supply for VVX 150, 250, 350 and 450, universal power supply for CCX 500, 600 and 700, and the Polycom SPS-12-015-240 24V power pack.
- Grandstream: Grandstream 5V 1A power supply adapter.
- Panasonic: Panasonic 9V 0.75A power supply for the NT321, NT343 and NT366.
- Cisco: power kit for 7935 and 7936 conference phones.
You'll find the full range in our phone PSUs and power adaptors sections.
Tip: consider PoE instead. Most modern IP phones can be powered over the network cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet), which means no power pack at the desk at all. If your switch doesn't supply PoE, a TP-Link TL-POE150S PoE injector, Ubiquiti U-POE+ injector or NEC 2-port PoE injector does the job for one or two phones. For a whole office, a PoE switch is usually the tidier option.
Cables to fix just about every connection problem
A missing or damaged cable is the cause of a surprising number of "my phone is broken" calls. Here's what we keep on hand:
- Handset curly cords: stretched, tangled or crackling handset cords are cheap and quick to replace.
- Telephone line cords: for analogue phones, faxes and alarm panels.
- Cat6 patch leads: from short rack leads to longer desk runs, for connecting IP phones, PCs, access points and switches.
- EHS cables: electronic hook switch cables let a wireless headset answer and end calls on your desk phone. Different phone brands need different EHS cables, so tell us your phone and headset model and we'll match it.
- Headset cables: QD (quick disconnect) cables, adapters and training cables to connect corded headsets to almost any phone.
- USB cables and HDMI cables: for headsets, webcams, docking stations, monitors and meeting room screens.
- Splitters and joiners: for when the cable you have is almost long enough.
Screen brackets and monitor arms for your PCs
Getting monitors up off the desk and onto a proper bracket is one of the simplest ergonomic upgrades you can make. It frees up desk space, lets each person set the screen at the right height and distance, and makes dual-screen setups far easier to live with.
We can supply a range of Brateck monitor arms, including:
- Single and dual desk-mounted arms for most 17" to 32" monitors, including economical spring-assisted models.
- Wall-mounted gas spring arms, such as the Brateck dual monitor wall-mounted gas spring arm, ideal for reception desks, workshops and tight spaces.
- Heavy-duty arms for large and ultrawide screens up to 57", including models with built-in USB-A and USB-C ports.
Before you buy, check that your monitor has VESA mounting holes on the back (usually 75 x 75mm or 100 x 100mm), and note its size and weight so we can match the right arm. Give us a call for current pricing and availability.
